01 / IntroductionSocial-Impact F&B

A social-impact F&B venture builder.

Hawker Boys builds, acquires and grows local F&B brands with a clear social mission: to mentor ex-offenders through real work, real discipline and real ownership pathways.

Our work sits at the intersection of brand acquisition, F&B growth and practical reintegration.

We believe people rebuilding their lives need more than a second chance. They need structure, mentorship, accountability and meaningful work that can grow into ownership.

At the same time, local F&B brands need stronger positioning, sharper systems, better storytelling and practical support to grow sustainably.

Hawker Boys brings these two needs together.

Jaromel Gee founded Hawker Boys to build a more practical model for social-impact F&B.

The company's focus is intentional: acquire and grow local F&B brands while mentoring ex-offenders through real work, responsibility and ownership pathways.

Jaromel leads Hawker Boys across brand acquisition, concept development, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, brand positioning and venture building. His role is to shape the direction of the company, build partner confidence and keep each venture commercially grounded while carrying a clear social mission.

His background spans F&B operations, food technology, brand building and social enterprise development. Before Hawker Boys, he developed and operated food-tech concepts and worked through the hard realities of building food businesses, navigating partners and adjusting models when the ground changed.

That experience shaped the current Hawker Boys direction.

He believes people rebuilding their lives need more than encouragement. They need structure, honest mentoring, meaningful work and a pathway to carry real responsibility.

At Hawker Boys, Jaromel focuses on building brands that can last, mentoring people who are serious about rebuilding and creating ownership pathways that are earned through real work.

Founder Statement
/ In his own words

Hawker Boys exists because social impact needs stronger business foundations.

A weak business cannot carry a serious mission for long. If we want real pathways for people rebuilding their lives, the ventures themselves must be commercially sound, operationally sharp and built with discipline.

That is why Hawker Boys is focused on brand acquisition and ex-offender mentoring.

We build the brand.
We mentor the person.
We own the outcome.

Building the system
around the mission.

Hawker Boys is built by a small team with complementary strengths across structure, operations, mentoring, technology and execution. The company's work is grounded in real F&B ventures, practical systems and close support for people rebuilding their lives.

Stamford Wee

General ManagerHB · 02

Stamford Wee serves as General Manager at Hawker Boys, supporting the structure, governance and operating discipline behind the company's social-impact F&B work.

His role focuses on helping Hawker Boys remain grounded, accountable and practical as it grows from concept into execution.

Stamford supports internal systems, partner coordination, mentoring structure and the operating environment needed for people rebuilding their lives to work, learn and grow with consistency.

He brings experience across education, operations, community-based work and programme design. At Hawker Boys, this experience is applied toward a sharper direction: supporting F&B ventures that can carry both commercial discipline and social responsibility.

His work helps keep the mission human and the structure steady, especially where ex-offender mentoring, partner coordination and long-term consistency are concerned.

Manzo, Tech and AI LeadCore · HB.03

Manzo

Tech and AI LeadHB · 03

Manzo leads technology and AI development at Hawker Boys, building practical systems that support F&B operations, brand growth and daily execution.

His role focuses on tools that help the team work faster, communicate better and operate with greater consistency.

This includes digital SOPs, AI-assisted workflows, reporting formats, content support, internal tools and practical systems that reduce friction for operators and teams on the ground.

Manzo brings technical depth across AI, full-stack development and network engineering, with a strong instinct for building tools that are useful in real operating environments.

At Hawker Boys, his work supports the company's venture-building model by making operations clearer, more structured and easier to scale.

He also brings lived sensitivity toward neurodivergent communities, including people with ADHD and those on the autism spectrum. This gives him a grounded perspective on how tools, systems and workflows can support people who learn, work and process differently.

03 / What We DoTwo intentional engines

Two intentional
engines.

Hawker Boys focuses on two core engines: brand acquisition and ex-offender mentoring. Everything else (design, technology, fundraising and AI) supports these two moves.

01
Engine 01

Brand
Acquisition

We acquire, partner with and grow local F&B brands with strong ground potential: good food, meaningful stories, commercial promise and room for stronger positioning, systems and growth.

Once involved, we support the venture through concept development, brand direction, design, fundraising, partnerships, operational tools, technology and AI-enabled workflows.

The goal is simple: make the brand stronger, sharper and more ready to grow.

Ex-Offender
Mentoring

We mentor selected ex-offenders through structured roles in real F&B environments. We walk with them through the daily realities of work: punctuality, discipline, communication, emotional regulation, teamwork, customer service, kitchen routines, service flow and personal responsibility.

The goal is steady growth through real work. We believe restoration is built through structure, honesty, patience and responsibility.

04 / Our ModelThe whole thing in one line

Build the Brand.
Mentor the Person.
Own the Outcome.

Hawker Boys acquires and grows F&B brands while creating structured roles for selected ex-offenders who are serious about rebuilding their lives.

For candidates who show consistency, trustworthiness and readiness, we work toward micro-ownership opportunities in the stalls, brands or ventures they help build.

This is a practical pathway toward real ownership. It is earned, supported and commercially grounded.

01The business grows.
02The person grows.
03The responsibility grows.
05 / How It WorksA five-step approach

The Hawker Boys
approach.

01/05

Acquire or
Partner With
the Brand

We identify F&B brands and concepts with strong local potential: hawker stalls, food concepts, small operators, legacy recipes or mission-aligned ventures that can grow with the right support.

02/05

Strengthen
the Business

Brand positioning, menu story, visual direction, launch strategy, fundraising materials, partnership decks, social media structure, operational templates, basic reporting and technology-enabled workflows.

03/05

Create Suitable
F&B Roles

Selected ex-offenders are placed into practical roles in prep, kitchen, stall operations, service, inventory, handover routines and customer-facing work, where supervision and mentoring capacity are right.

04/05

Mentor
Through the
Work

Mentoring happens through daily work, regular feedback and clear expectations: reliability, communication, emotional regulation, teamwork, financial awareness and ownership mindset.

05/05

Build Toward
Micro-
Ownership

For candidates who prove readiness over time, we work toward a real stake in the stall, brand or venture they helped grow. The goal is a real pathway to become builders, operators and eventual part-owners.

06 / Micro-OwnershipA pathway to real ownership

A pathway to real ownership.

Hawker Boys believes ownership should be practical, earned and real. Micro-ownership is our way of creating a meaningful bridge between work and business ownership.

It allows selected individuals to progress from paid roles into deeper responsibility, stronger accountability and eventually a real stake in the venture.

This pathway is built carefully. It depends on trust, consistency, operational readiness and commercial sense.

There is no shortcut to ownership.
There is a path.

07 / HawkerBoys.devTechnology for Social Impact
HawkerBoys.dev

Building the social tech ecosystem.

HawkerBoys.dev is where Hawker Boys showcases the technology, systems and digital products being built around its social-impact work.

The aim is bigger than a project page. HawkerBoys.dev is part of a growing movement to bring tech people together around practical solutions for social impact.

Hawker Boys is leading the way by building its own portfolio first. Each project helps show how technology can support F&B operations, ex-offender mentoring, community work and mission-led ventures with more structure, clarity and long-term usefulness.

As the portfolio grows, HawkerBoys.dev will become a place where builders, designers, developers and mission-minded partners can see the work, understand the needs and contribute to solutions that serve real people on the ground.
